We are proud to welcome Jakob Stausholm as Chairman of the Board beginning June 29th, 2026.

Jakob is one of the world’s most seasoned industry leaders. He has served as CEO of Rio Tinto and held senior leadership positions at A.P. Moller-Maersk, Shell, and ISS. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated how innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence can drive both growth and long-term impact. For Green Therma, his decision to join our Board reflects the strength of our technology, our team, and the opportunity ahead.

We founded Green Therma with the ambition to unlock geothermal energy’s full potential. Our team has developed a new generation of closed-loop geothermal technology designed to overcome many of the risks and limitations that have historically constrained geothermal deployment, enabling sustainable energy solutions in locations where conventional geothermal systems are not viable.
