Green Therma has been selected for Project Development Assistance (PDA) under the European Union’s Innovation Fund, with advisory services to be provided by the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The programme will support the continued development of Heat4Ever™, Green Therma’s next-generation closed-loop geothermal solution, designed to provide reliable, renewable, and affordable heat for district heating networks.
During the next months, EIB experts will work alongside Green Therma on financing strategy, technical validation, risk assessment, and benchmarking to further strengthen the project’s technical and commercial foundations as it progresses towards deployment.
“This support gives us access to world-class expertise at an important stage in the development of Heat4Ever™,” said Jørgen Peter Rasmussen, Founder and CEO of Green Therma. “We look forward to working with the European Investment Bank as we continue preparing the project for commercial deployment.”
The Innovation Fund is one of the European Union’s flagship funding programmes supporting the demonstration and commercialization of innovative low-carbon technologies. Through its Project Development Assistance, selected projects receive expert technical, financial and commercial advisory support to strengthen their readiness for investment and deployment. For Green Therma, this represents another important step in advancing Heat4Ever™ towards commercial implementation and bringing renewable geothermal heating to district heating networks.
