Green Therma is pleased to announce that Nikolaj Holmer Nissen will join the company as Chief Operating Officer (COO) from 1 August 2023. Nikolaj brings a strong background from the energy sector, where he has spent the last 8 years with BWSC and since 2018 as CEO headed the turnaround of the company. Nikolaj’s experience includes delivery of turnkey projects, project development and financing, operation, maintenance and service of power plants.

Nikolaj’s holds a master’s degree in engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) as well as a Graduate Diploma in Marketing (HD) from Copenhagen Business School (CBS). He started his career with Implement Consulting Group in 2002 and moved on to Chr. Hansen in 2008 before joining BWSC in 2015. Nikolaj has served on several boards including the Board of DI Energy under the Federation of Danish Industries (DI) from 2018 to 2023.
