Ledige stillinger

Green Therma is revolutionizing the renewable energy industry. Our organization is dedicated to developing innovative solutions for producing geothermal heat and addressing the challenges associated with conventional geothermal energy solutions. We are a forward-thinking organization with 12 employees working collaboratively to develop and deploy our patented closed-loop horizontal geothermal well technology, DualVac.

At Green Therma, we foster a collaborative and dynamic work environment where each team member plays a crucial role in advancing our vision. Our experts span geology, engineering, and drilling, working together to push the boundaries of geothermal energy. As a small, agile team, everyone has the opportunity to directly contribute to the company’s success and the development of our groundbreaking geothermal technology.

After successfully testing the technology in a workshop and at a test-well facility, we are now preparing for a full-scale demonstration project, for which we need to strengthen our project management team.

You will lead the execution of the demonstration project alongside our geology, engineering, and drilling teams and play a key role in developing our project management procedures in close collaboration with our dedicated QHSE manager.

Job Responsibilities

As a Project Manager for Green Therma’s first geothermal energy plant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Actively participate in the final development and maturation of the project, including permitting
  • Leading the delivery of a geothermal energy plant, i.e., the full-scale demonstration project for Green Therma’s geothermal heat exploitation solution
  • Disciplines included in the delivery of the project include geology, engineering, drilling, and well completion, construction, as well as test & commissioning
  • Coordination and collaboration with external stakeholders, including the customer, business partners, and suppliers
  • Managing the project according to the project plan and overall contract program
  • Project reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation plans to management and external stakeholders
  • Financial management of the project, including budgeting and follow-up in close collaboration with the finance team
  • Lead future geothermal energy plant projects

In addition, you will play a vital role in shaping the project management system at Green Therma by diving into the details and enhancing our procedures. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving our success forward.

Qualifications and Requirements

Ideally, you have a technical background with prior experience as a project manager responsible for constructing or delivering complex technical installations. While formal qualifications are beneficial, relevant experience, the right attitude, knowledge, and skills are equally important. A background in drilling, well completions, or heating can be advantageous, although it is not necessary.

Location and Application Process

The primary workplace for this position is in Copenhagen, with occasional travel to the construction site. The successful candidate will report to COO Nikolaj Holmer Nissen and can direct any inquiries to [email protected].

To apply for this role, please submit your application to Marie Haargaard Urup at [email protected] no later than 31 January 2025. We will evaluate applications and conduct interviews continuously.
